In October 2014 I travelled down the coast of France documenting the decline in it’s culture along the coast. The original culture in France is being divided by the tourist industry along the coastline, however the tourist industry is a vital part of southern Frances income and supports its economy. In October it is the end of the summer season when parts of towns completely shut down and the locals move back inland for the winter months, I wanted to show this change in France’s culture and how much of the coastline’s economy relies on tourism to survive.
